More text-parser updates:

  • Fixed two big bugs and a handful of smaller ones.
  • Tweaked algorithms for compatibility with a lot more sites.
  • Fixed relative images and links when the <base> tag is used.
  • Improved the offline functionality of in-page anchors.
  • Styled <pre> tags to wrap long lines instead of cutting them off.
  • Improved style of sites that put text in <div> elements instead of <p>.
  • Fixed specific issues with McSweeney’s, The Nation, ScienceBlogs, O’Reilly Radar, AppVee, Morning Star Online, Gawker sites, and Weblogs, Inc. sites.

I offer my continued thanks for your reports. The text parser is one of the most important parts of Instapaper, and I really want to make it absolutely awesome.
