New list layout, new Starred Articles feature

I’ve just updated Instapaper.com with a new article-list layout and a new Starred Articles feature.

You can star any article, and it shows up in a separate Starred section for easy tracking and archival. If you’re a geek, you can probably come up with some fun uses for the Starred Articles RSS feed as well. This is a minor feature update, but it lays the foundation for some bigger features in the future.

On the iPhone, the star feature will be added to the next version of Instapaper Pro.

I’ve also consolidated some terminology to be more consistent everywhere: “Archive” is gone and has been replaced by “Deleted”. You can still permanently delete articles so that they don’t even show up in the “Deleted” section – just find them in the Deleted section and hit the red “×” button again.

Now, let me find somewhere to put the Kindle feature in the new layout…
